What is Halloween and why marks??

Halloween (or Halovin) is a holiday celebrated on October 31. The origin of this festival is the Celtic festival of "Samain" and the Christian day of "All Saints". This is a folk celebration, but some Christians and pagans are particularly tied to it. Irish settlers in North America brought with them their version of tradition.

This day is often associated with black and orange color, and especially with the symbol of St. zucchini. Activities associated with this day include jokes, attending "cursed" places, burning campfire, carnival prints zucchini, reading scary stories and watching horror movies.

Why lanterns from pumpkins?

They come from the term "will-o'-the-wisp", which is Scottish-Irish way to describe the phenomenon of atmospheric balls of light that appear around wetlands.
